FAQs

Q: What areas do you service?

A: Adelaide's southern suburbs, from Goodwood to Willunga. We're local to the area and regularly service McLaren Vale, Aldinga Beach, Sellicks, Seaford, Maslin Beach, Port Noarlunga, Hallett Cove, Sheidow Park, and nearby Fleurieu Peninsula.

Q: Do you do small jobs or just big projects?

A: We do it all: fault finding, power points, light swaps, fans, ovens, smoke alarms, switchboard fixes, rural sheds and 3-phase. No job too fiddly.

Q: Do you handle rural electrical work?

A: Yep. Sheds, bore/pump power, long cable runs, 3-phase upgrades, generator changeover, underground to outbuildings. Built tough for dust, distance and salt air.

Q: Do you offer emergency call-outs?

A: We prioritise rapid next-day for breakdowns. Not 24/7. If it’s dangerous (sparks, burning smell, shock), switch off power and call 000. For network faults, call your energy provider or check SAPN's website.

Q: Can you supply parts, or do I buy my own?

A: Both work. We carry quality gear and can source to spec, or we’ll install customer-supplied fixtures (fans, lights, appliances) if they’re compliant and safe.

Q: Do I need a switchboard upgrade and RCDs?

A: If you’ve got old fuses or no safety switches, you’re due. RCDs cut power fast during faults, safer for people and property. We’ll inspect and quote the simplest path to compliant protection.

Q: How often should smoke alarms be replaced?

A: Roughly every 10 years (or per the manufacturer). We recommend photoelectric alarms, interlinked where practical, and a quick test at least monthly.

Q: What’s involved in running underground power to a shed?

A: Site check, “dial before you dig”, correct trench depth, conduit, earthing, and certification. We handle design, trenching guidance, install and testing.
